Helping the impoverished is our wish

The poverty levels in South Africa are not just a cause for concern but a threat to the countries’ socio-economic well being of our country and the communities around us.

The number of unemployed youths and adults is worrisome, the number of orphans and children who are left to be taken care by their grandmothers who themselves can not afford a decent meal are alarming. We can not name it all, but all that we see is need for help from the South African community.

It is in this light and burden that WONUP was born, born to eradicate poverty in order to unlock human potential. Poverty leads to endless problems that in turn worsens the countries economy, for instance the trading of drugs by the youth who are desperate for survival. 

WONUP’s mission therefore is to alleviate poverty and create a better South Africa by stepping in and breaking the cycle of poverty, illiteracy and insecurities in the communities.

We vision a peaceful South Africa, with purpose driven young people.
